Winter Charity Cup 2023, a football tournament, is a fund-raising event for charity in this winter to stand by the people to whom this season is never a reason behind joy rather endless sufferings.
The motif behind organising such an event is to help alleviate the sufferings of the underprivileged, and through the hands of our own spectators, which will encourage more people to donate in extreme conditions to the needy and help ease their pain.
Each and every spectator was required to enter with any form of clothing or blanket for donation.
Besides, the money raised from the tournament will be used to provide relief packages to the ones in need.

The tournament was successfully held on 20th January,2023, and the Champions of the tournament were FC Blues (4th picture) and the Runners Up were Metro Railed (3rd picture).
WINTER CHARITY CUP'S DONATION CAMPAIGN
On 24th February 2023, we successfully completed our donation campaign where we visited 'Dakshinkhan Darul Ulum Madrasa O Etimkhana', an orphanage in Dakshinkhan, where we distributed a new piece of clothing, precisely known as a panjabi or kurta to South Asians, to 66 children whose joy cannot be confined within words.

The head of the orphanage expressed their utmost gratitude and pleasure regarding our visit. He also opened up about how the orphanage is run on a daily basis and how hard the management works to provide the best possible environment for the children during their growing age. As the orphanage is run using the funds provided by the residents of Dakshinkhan, the expenditure is kept limited, which is why the head of orphanage mentioned that it is not always possible for the management to provide high quality meals, or even buy so many children brand new clothes every year on occasions such as Eid. Therefore, from the satisfaction that the head, the management, and importantly the children had was more than enough to conclude this campaign as a success.
A VISIT TO JAAGO FOUNDATION SCHOOL IN BANANI:
stationary donation and brief mental health session
An extremely heart-touching and interactive mental health session with the students of class 9 at JAAGO Foundation School, Banani today. We also distributed stationaries consisting of 3 pens, 3 pencils, 1 eraser, 1 sharpener, 1 pencil bag, and 1 copy to each child, summing up to 33 students in the class.
Throughout the session, we talked about how mental health is an overlooked topic in our society and how it is equally as important as our physical health. The students also shared their opinions, experiences, and thoughts on several factors we raised within our discussion which we will cover in an upcoming campaign review post. The students were very enthusiastic to discuss about mental health issues they face on a daily basis, as well as their teachers who expressed great concern about their students' overall mental health condition. The details of our conversation have been posted as a campaign review on our social media platforms such as Instagram and Facebook.
To wrap up, this campaign was a huge success and we're extremely thankful to @jaagofoundation for giving us this opportunity to bring the importance of mental health to light to the students who needed them the most, and really grateful to the team who made this possible!
Most importantly, our gratitude towards each and every single person who donated to make this campaign possible is inexpressible💛
